01-07-2011 - Combined chain saw
The retractable strap apparatus 10 may be secured to any desired article, such as a medical stretcher and the like, by a mounting bracket 48 in a well understood manner. A catch 50 present at the end of the strap 14 may be engaged to a buckle 52 in a conventional manner. The buckle 52 is mounted to a side of the desired article and, because of its standard nature, will not be described in detail. The buckle 52 may be of any size and shape necessary to receive and securely retain the catch 50. However, the buckle 52 shown in FIG. 1 has a shape that substantially matches the overall appearance of the spool container 18 to provide for a pleasing and uniform appearance.
Since the LED street light uses DC power and is installed outdoors, most of them are equipped with solar cells. This can save the electrical power usage. Although including solar cells is good, it is quite expensive to maintain them. Generally speaking, the solar-powered LED street light also requires mains power in addition to the solar cells so that the power supply can be alternated. For maintenance personnel, the solar cells are more likely to be damaged than home-used ones because they are exposed outdoors.
This invention relates to a safer and better power tool for cutting wood. It combines a power driven bar type chain saw and a work positioning means to make the saw also a tool for moving wood to be cut into a better and safer position for cutting before cutting. There are a very large number of chain saw accidents. These accidents are primarily caused by inexperienced operators cutting wood from an unsafe position. They over-reach and otherwise unsafely cut wood primarily because they don't take the time to set their saw down and with their hands move wood to be cut into a safe position before cutting. They haven't had a tool with them to use for safely moving wood before they cut it. The invention herein makes the bar type chain such a tool in addition to being a saw. The attachment extends lengthwise from the nose of any type guide bar on the saw, and having at least one hook and point extends the users reach and also enables the user to use the chain saw as a tool to move wood into a safe position for cutting without setting down the saw or stepping from the users position. The attachment also prevents kickback, chain damage by preventing the chain from hitting ground, aids limbing, and also aids attaching the guide bar and chain to the engine or motor and the tensioning of the chain.

01-07-2011 - led street lights
The present invention generally relates to jewelry items. More particularly, the invention relates to a handmade jewelry item that may be worn, for instance, on a finger, toe, wrist, or ankle, and that provides a comfort feature.
As natural resources and energy will be used up soon, it becomes important to save fossil energy and develop new everlasting energy. Therefore, countries all over the world are making efforts in this direction for public constructions. Taking the street light as one example, there are more LED street lights because the LED lamp has the advantage of low power consumption. Electrical power can be greatly saved if we widely adopt the LED street lights.
The invention includes a jewelry item, with an improvement of including a plurality of elevated surfaces within the interior radius of the jewelry item. In one aspect of the invention the plurality of elevated surfaces may be curved surfaces. In further aspects of the invention, the curved surfaces may be hemispheres, intersecting hemispheres, semi cylinders, or intersecting semi cylinders. In a further aspect of the invention, the curved surfaces are annularly situated about an interior circumference of the jewelry item. The jewelry item bearing the novel interior of the invention may include, but is not limited to, a ring, a watch, or a bracelet.

10-06-2011 - Chain Saw Files
The brake band can be tightened around a clutch drum of the motor-driven Chain Saw Files by means of an ancillary chain brake device provided in addition to the chain brake device, so that the clutch drum is brought to an immediate stop. This braking action occurs also if the releasing device of the chain brake device is not actuated. In this way, the chain brake device remains activated thereby enabling it to act during operation of the chain saw, for example, in the event that the motor-driven chain saw kicks back while the saw chain is running. The ancillary chain brake device is preferably operable by the throttle lever or the throttle lever locking device so that the clutch drum is braked on throttling back. In this way, a continued running of the saw chain after release of the throttle is thereby reliably prevented.
As a result, the brake band is applied to the brake drum, stopping movement of the saw chain. However, the saw chain is only slowed down upon actuation of the tripping device. When working with the motor-driven chain saw, there is the problem that the saw chain continues running for a relatively long period after the throttle is released, about 3.5 to 5 seconds. During such running down of the saw chain, there is the danger that the operator will strike the ground with the guide bar which may easily dull the saw chain and therefore require its premature replacement. In addition, particularly where space is limited, the chain saw operator may sustain injury if the guide bar accidentally touches the legs or other parts of the body.
The ancillary chain brake device permits braking the clutch drum immediately when required. This braking operation occurs independently of the main chain brake device, that is, it occurs also if the tripping device is still in the release position. The chain brake device thereby remains in the release position so that it will be effective during operation of the chain saw should, for example, a kickback condition occurs while the saw chain is running. Preferably, the ancillary chain brake device is actable by the throttle lever or the throttle lever locking device of the motor-driven chain saw, such that the clutch drum is braked when the throttle is released. A continued running of the chain is thereby reliably prevented thereby precluding the risk of injury to the operator. Should the guide bar hit the ground accidentally, the saw chain will not be damaged since by then it will already have come to a stop.
